STONES WE CARRY….
a collaborative project
Carry a stone.
Leave a trace.
Since my son’s death in 2018, I have been engraving his name into stones and inviting others to collaborate with me by dispersing them throughout the world.
Each person who places a stone becomes a part of an ongoing act of defiance.
The dead are not gone from us. We carry them in our hearts and minds throughout our lives. They continue to influence our decisions, shape how we love, and even inform how we move through the world. They can inspire us to smile or compel us to cry.
Each stone placed, and each stone found, is a memorial to those who continue to live within us, unseen.
He exists there –
in the flesh of the stone.
